Namsan Seoul Tower, also known as N Seoul Tower, is the pride and joy of Korea’s capital city and home to stunning scenery and great cafes!

As an Aussie, Namsan Seoul Tower very much reminds me of the Centrepoint Tower in Sydney, though I suppose many countries use a similar architectural design for iconic city landmarks. In any case, what makes the N Seoul Tower unique and gives it its flair is the fact that it rests atop a large green hill, giving it a huge boost in elevation such that it looks like it’s flying from a distance.
The Vibrant Namsan Park

Surprisingly, the tower itself isn’t even the main highlight of Namsan Park, though it does act as a nice decoration. The surrounding cafes and restaurants are what give this place its soul (or should I say, “Seoul”), as people from all over the world gather for a nice coffee with a view! While some people take buses and taxis to reach the peak of Namsan Park, many elect the exercise route, which consists of an inclined walk for about 30 minutes (talk about earning yourself a coffee!).
Spectacular Scenery!

The smile on mum’s face says it all! Namsan Park’s summit features extraordinary views of the Jung District of Seoul, Korea’s capital city. The mountainous landscapes surround the modern cities beautifully, and you’re so high up that you can even see the clouds up front! There are a few good seating areas where you can enjoy this magnificent view while sipping on a coffee or snacking on an ice cream.
Love Island

For whatever reason, Namsan Park has become a beloved place for couples. Perhaps it’s the combination of cute cafes, the dazzling lights of N Seoul Tower, and amazing scenic views of Seoul City. As such, there are countless photo spots specifically designed for couples, from the wall of endless love lockets to the heart-shaped apple monuments and benches.
Delicious Food!

There are plenty of delicious restaurants and ambient cafes at the base of N Seoul Tower. While there are options for Korean cuisine, I was craving this mushroom and cheese burger from a restaurant called N Burger. I never thought one of the best burgers I’d have would be in Seoul, but dare I say the quality and taste of these burgers were top-notch! Along with the burgers were a plate of crispy fries and prawn cutlets, which were equally delicious.
The Dazzling Night Sky

At night, not only does the N Seoul Tower light up beautifully, but so does the entire city of Seoul. With an elevation of 270 meters above sea level, the views from Namsan Park’s peak are absolutely stunning, and likely amplified if you were to pay for a ticket to go up N Seoul Tower, which extends an additional 270 meters to the sky. There is truly something enchanting about Korea’s blend of natural landscape and modern buildings as curvy mountains weave their way brilliantly in and around the city.
